On choosing length.
A shape that suits how you live beats a shape that suits how you scroll. We will tell you, kindly, when a length is fighting the way you use your hands. Then we will find the version that works.
No. 02Note from Emily
On gel removal.
Never picked, always soaked. We schedule a fifteen-minute soak at the start of every gel reapplication so your nail bed stays smooth. If you have peeling, ask about a strengthening protocol before the next polish.
No. 03Note from The atelier
On the wedding aftercare.
A bridal manicure does not begin on the wedding morning. It begins six weeks before, with cuticle oil twice a day and one extra glass of water with breakfast. We will write the schedule for you at your trial.
A visit
A white-and-gold retreat on East Ridgewood Avenue.
Tucked into downtown Ridgewood, the salon is an intimate retreat finished in white and gold, beneath a crystal chandelier and fresh peonies. Every appointment is boutique, unhurried, and entirely yours.
Reservations are recommended to secure your preferred time and technician.
What we use
A short library of colors we keep stocked.
Brands are chosen for longevity and for what they do not contain. The full shade card lives at the atelier. Ask, and we will pull it.

Our everyday workhorse. Reads white in window light, oat under lamplight.

A barely-there pink. Sits well under a French.

A green that flatters every skin tone we have tested it on.

The bridal red. Deep without going black.

A clear gloss with a half-shade of warmth. A natural-nail favorite.
